We don't have the resources to be active on every social media platform like TikTok, Instagram, <insert new trend here>.

Instead we try to be very active in only a few places. We found that X and LinkedIn are the most effective places for us to be at this moment.

Calendar

Our goal is to post every weekday, and we have a content calendar to help us with that.

Resend Content Calendar

We don't plan too far in advance, mostly deciding what things we want to post this week. That's it! The calendar is only a tool to push us to meet our goal.

We post every weekday to constantly provide value and keep Resend top of mind for folks. Developers only adopt a tool when they feel a pain. They might not need Resend today, but when they have email problems two weeks from now, we want to be the first choice that pops on their minds.

Posting Philosophy

We try to provide value with each post—whether or not people are using Resend. The email space has a lot of complexity and we want to help demystify it as much as possible through clear education.

Generally speaking, we try to embed the value in each post. In other words, we're generally not trying to promote additional links, content, or videos. The post should contain all crucial information instead of linking out to the "real" content.

Each weekday morning, we post an original post and each afternoon we try to re-tweet a community post mentioning Resend.

Post Types

For our original content, we rotate through a few different types of posts. Planning these posting patterns helps us think of new posts, stay consistent, and build in a natural variety.
