Why are we doing this?

When we started react.email, the goal was to help developers create modern email templates. Building emails used to take days, and now it takes minutes.

But we're not done.

  • What if you could build it seconds, instead of minutes?
  • What if it were available for everyone, not just developers?

That's why we built new.email.

What problem are we solving?

Every day, product teams need to send emails to their users.

Some teams can afford a developer to build their email templates, but many others depend on marketing, product, or design teams.

The result? Many companies send a mix of transactional and marketing templates that don't look or feel like the rest of the product.

Emails should be consistent, beautiful, responsive, and cross-platform, regardless of who is building them.

Why now?

As heavy users of ChatGPT, Raycast AI, and Cursor ourselves, we've been exploring for a while how we can use LLMs to make it easier for everyone to send modern emails.

Today, we have a library of 54 high-quality email components, and we were able to train an LLM to generate these templates.

Not only that, but we can incorporate the deliverability insights we've been learning by sending millions of emails every single day through Resend.

We've seen firsthand how products like Lovable, Bolt, and v0 are changing the definition of a developer.

Now, we're excited to explore what the future looks like for LLMs + email.
